Flagship venue, new symbolic face of the Festival. A fabulous big-top marquee situated on the field behind the maths field.

THE BUBBLE&SPEAK

A debating, writing, reading and workshop space, situated in the CAPITAL centre for the entire week.

• 60+ capacity venue with direct and interactive programming may appeal to specific range of products or services
• Interactive environment, promoting direct hands-on development
• Workshops, performances, readings, discussions.

THE BABYSPLAT

Intimate, acoustic music and comedy stage, situated alongside the main-stage in the big-top tent!

• 70+ capacity venue allows for more targeted campaigns with complete exclusivity
• Diversity of acts should attract varied audiences throughout the week
• For intimate performance
• 4.80m (depth) - 7.20m (width)

SPLATSTUDIO

• Black box studio space
• 120 capacity
• Fully teched professional theatre
• In Warwick Arts Centre
• For dance, theatre, comedy, and performance art

Exciting development...

The curator of the Mead Gallery has given permission for students to use Toby Patterson’s Artist Pavilion for the week of SPLAT-fest. It was commissioned to stand outside the London Assembly last summer and was used by buskers, dance performers, local amateur dramatic societies and lots of children as well as sunbathing/sheltering office workers. The pavilion will be over beside University house and would be a great space for any installation theatre and exhibitions. Take a look at the photo!
